Chicken Manchurian
Chicken Manchurian recipe is a delicious and one of the most popular Indian Chinese recipes that is made with Chicken.
Ingredients:
Boneless chicken, skinless chicken * breasts. 350g
* Green capsicums cut into bite size. 70 g
* Red capsicums cut into bite size. 70 g
* Onion cut into bite size. 50 g
*Carrot thinly sliced in circles. 100g
* Fresh garlic, minced. 5 g
* Egg whites. 2
* Cornstarch. 1tbsp
* Soya sauce. 1 tsp
* Oyster sauce. 1/2tsp
* White vinegar. 1/2tsp
* Brown sugar. 1 tsp
*Salt to taste
* Pepper to taste
* Cornstarch slurry. 2 tbsp
Preparations:
Step 1:
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, salt egg white, and cornstarch, make sure each Chicken pieces are nicely coated with egg white and starch mixture.
Step 2:
In a large work over medium high heat, heat up cooking oil to 300 degrees F , put in chicken cook until all pieces are floating on top and golden, take out and drain.
Step 3:
Return the wok to the stove, add garlic, onion and 1 tbsp cooking oil , cook until fragrant. Then add in green and red capsicums, soya sauce, Oyster sauce, white vinegar, brown sugar and a tbsp water stir and cook for a few minutes. Add 2 tsp cornstarch slurry to thickening the sauce.
