Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani is a world famous dish, it is made using Chicken which is marinated then cooked and then is added to cooked rice and again cooked under Dum.
                           Ingredients:
Spice powder:
* Coriander seeds.                        3 tsp
* Fennel seeds.                             1 tsp
* Caraway seeds.                         1 tsp
* Black pepper.                             2 tsp
* Cloves.                                        20
* Cardamom.                                12
* Nutmeg.                                     1 s piece
* Bey leaves.                                 2
* Mace.                                         S piece
* Star anise.                                 2
* Cinnamon sticks.                     20 s piece
              Marinate ingredients:
* Chicken                                       1 kilo
* Ginger garlic paste.                   3 tbsp
* Spice powder.                            1 tsp
* Yogurt.                                         300 gr
* Lemon juice.                                1 tbsp
* Cardamom powder.                    1/2 tsp
* Red chili powder                         1 1/2tsp
* Turmeric powder.                         1/2 tsp
* Fried and crushed onion.             2 med si
* Few mint and coriander leaves
* Crushed green chilies                  1 tbsp
* Ghee.                                              1 tbsp

Rice:
* Basmati rice 1 kilo

Another boil water mixed:
* Basmati rice                       1 kilo
* Cloves.                                 4
* Cinnamon sticks.                5
* Caraway seeds.                    1/2 tsp
* Cardamom                            3
* Oil                                           1 tbsp
                      Garnishing:
* Garnish with Fried Onions.
* mint and coriander leaves.
* Ghee        1 tbsp
* Saffron soaked milk
* Garam masala powder.
                       Preparations:
Step 1:
First we need to make spice powder, for this we need coriander powder  3tsp, fennel seeds 1 tsp, caraway seeds 1 tsp, black pepper 2 tsp, cloves 20, cardamom 12, nutmeg 1 small piece, bay leaves 2, mace small piece, star anise 2, black cardamom 2 and cinnamon sticks 20 small pieces grind it to a fine powder.
Step 2:
For making biryani we need Chicken  1 kilo, spice powder 1 tsp, ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp, yogurt 300 gr, lemon juice 1 tbsp, cardamom powder 1/2 tsp, red chili powder 1 1/2 tsp, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, Fried and crushed onion 2 medium sized, few mint and coriander leaves, crushed green chilies 1  tbsp and ghee 1 tbsp mix it well and marinate for an hour.
Step 3:
Soak basmati rice in water 1 kilo.
Step 4:
In a vessel heat oil 5 tbsp and add the marinated chicken and cook till it turns 75% tender.
Step 5:
In another bowl add water 3-4 liter and to it add salt as required, cloves 4, cardamom 3, cinnamon sticks 5, caraway seeds 1/2 tsp, oil 1 tbsp mix it.
Step 6:
Now add soaked rice and cook till 70% done.
Step 7:
In a big bowl add rice layer then Chicken layer so on as shown and garnish with fried onions, mint and coriander leaves,ghee, saffron soaked milk, garam powder.
Step 8:
Then keep it under Dum for 30 minutes under a tawa .
Step 9 : 
Serve with raita. Serving 8 members.
